Navigate large org charts
Pan and zoom
Pan around the chart canvas and zoom in or out to focus on the level of detail you need.
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move horizontally or vertically around the displayed chart boxes. You can also hover over a chart box and use the navigation buttons to move up or down the hierarchy.
Chart toolbar
The chart toolbar contains navigation tools for moving around the chart and resetting your view.
| Zoom in and out | Increase or reduce the chart zoom level. | |
| Fit to screen | Expand the app to full screen. | |
| Top of Chart | Return to the person or position at the top of the chart. | |
| Find Yourself | Move directly to your own position in charts connected to Microsoft Entra ID. | |
| Reset zoom | Center the chart and return it to the default zoom level. |
Use chart search from the App Bar to find people by information such as name, department, job title, or telephone number. Select a result to move directly to that location in the chart.
You can also use bookmarks to save frequently visited locations and return to them quickly.
Navigation tools only change the part of the chart you are viewing. They do not alter reporting relationships or change the organization's structure.
