Apply conditional styling

Conditional styling rules use the same rule structure as other conditional rules, they automatically change the appearance of chart boxes based on their content or type. The difference is the effect you choose.
Conditional rules are made up of two elements.
- Conditions: Define which chart boxes the rule applies to. Select a column, choose an operator, and enter the value you want to compare against.
- Effects: define what visual change is applied when the conditions are met. Styling effects can change the box color, border, size, layout, or add additional text to the chart box.
Conditional rules are evaluated continuously, so their effects update automatically whenever your source data changes.
Create a conditional styling rule
- Enter Edit Mode.
- Open the Chart Settings menu, select Conditional Rules, then select Add New Rule.
- Under Conditions, select Add a Condition.
- Choose the column you want to test, select an operator, and enter the value to compare against.
- Select Save to add the condition to the rule.
- Under Effects, open the action menu and choose the styling action you want to apply.
- Configure the impact, such as the background color, border, size, or layout.
- Make sure the rule is switched on.
If several conditional rules could apply to the same chart box, the first matching rule takes priority. Place more specific rules above more general rules.
