Highlight teams in a chart

Team backgrounds help visually group a business unit, project team, or other section of your organization. They only change how the group is displayed and do not affect the reporting structure.
Add a background
- Enter Edit Mode.
- Open the chart box menu for the person or position that should be the starting point of the highlighted group.
- Select Team Options. You can also open Team Options from the Quick Actions section of the Side Panel after selecting a chart box.
- Choose the layout that best fits the group.
- Customize the background. Styling options include:
- Color
- Border color
- Border style
- Layout
- Legend label
- Select Save to apply the background.
To remove a team background, return to the Team Options dialog and select Reset.
Add a legend label to help viewers identify the highlighted group. The label appears in the Side Panel when viewing the chart.
